This is a Hot Racing CNC machined anodized aluminum shock tool and spring gauge with a laser etched measuring scale on the face. The pivoting gauge at the bottom of the tool is supported with a brass bushing more optimal precision. Just mount the shock, move the slider bar to the extended position, and slowly push it into the compressed position. The pointer displays any variances in the shocks and you'll be able to address them as needed.
